Saturday February 27, 2010 Osceola Elementary's Inaugural Turtle Trot event took place off of Dondanville Road in St. Augustine.  As part of this fun and educational event, my husband and I had an opportunity to take part in a beach cleanup program also sponsored by the event.  We have always felt very fortunate in what we have in our lives and this was a wonderful way to give back to our community.  Through chilly temps, gusty winds and the occasional rain showers, we were not alone in our effort to make the beach a nicer safer place for both locals and the many many visitors we see every year.  St. Augustine is not only where we work, but it is also where we choose to play.  My hat's off to all the participants!  For more information and for additional information on the return of the toll-booths, please click on the following link.
